The Lotus Temple is another attraction in Delhi. The Lotus Temple is a Bahá'à House of Worship dedicated in December 1986. Like all Bahá'à Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
The Lotus Temple building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall.

- Lotus Temple is located in the village of Bahapur in New Delhi, National Capital Region of Delhi.
- The architect is Fariborz Sahba, an Iranian-American Bahá'à architect.
- The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam.
- It was constructed by ECC Construction Group of Larsen & Toubro Limited
- Now this is interesting - Of the temple's total electricity use of 500 kilowatts (KW), 120KW is provided by solar power generated by the building
- Since its inaugration in 1986, Lotus Temple attracted 70 million visitors by 2001. It is one of the most visited buildings in the world
