Myna perched on a branch right after a light rain.

The myna is a bird of the starling family. This is a group of passerine birds which are native to southern Asia, especially Nepal, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

A passerine is a bird of the order Passeriformes, which includes more than half of all bird species. They are perching birds. Most of them are small in size, and most can sing very well.
