The myna is a bird of the starling family. This is a group of
passerine birds which are native to southern Asia, especially Nepal,
India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
A passerine is a bird
of the order Passeriformes, which includes more than half of all bird
species. They are perching birds. Most of them are small in size, and
most can sing very well.
