Macro Photography using extension tube - Sir, Toothpicks ?

What is an Extension Tube?
An extension tube is often a mirror-less tube attached in between the lens and the body of the camera. It gets the lens further away from the focal plane and thus making the  focusing distance smaller. It brings the object closer to the camera.


Extension tubes helps in taking macro photos which otherwise is not possible with your regular lens. There are extension tube with and without auto focus.
