 Kanchenjunga and the Himalayas mountains seen from Mokokchung, Nagaland on a clear October morning.


During a visiting to Mokokchung for work, we happened to wake up quite early and we were greeted with this spectacular view of the Himalayas by mother nature. The morning sky was clear and the view was awesome. Such view of the Himalayas have been reported by many from other places in Nagaland too in the past.

We could see the Himalayan mountain lit in the morning sun - golden. And equally spectacular is the view of clouds sleeping amidst the hills of Mokokchung like as if nature spread some cotton between the hills.

With warm coffee and camera, I sat for about an hour enjoying the view. It's not every day that we get to see a scene like this.
