Doyang Dam is about an hour drive
from Wokha Town, Nagaland along the Wokha-Bhandari Road. Doyang area is
a popular tourist destination in Wokha district of Nagaland. And even
more so due to the Amur Falcons - Doyang area being one of the roosting site during their migration.

Doyang Hydro Electric Project is built on the Doyang River, the largest river in Nagaland. Doyang Hydro Electric Project was commissioned in 2000 with capacity of 75MW. It is still managed by North-Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO).
