The Angamis are a major Naga tribe, native to the Northeast Indian state of Nagaland. They primarily inhabit the Kohima District, and parts of Chümoukedima and Dimapur district. 

The Angamis celebrate a ten-day festival called Sekrenyi.

The traditional attire of the Angami Nagas are vibrant with intricate design. One of the most iconic part of the attire worn by men is their wide head gear.

These photos were taken during Hornbill Festival 2014. These Angami Nagas in traditional attires were waiting for Indian Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi's arrival to grace the Hornbill Festival at Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima.
