Kohima War Cemetery is a memorial cemetery dedicated to soldiers of the 2nd British Division of the Allied Forces who died in the Second World War at Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, India, in April 1944. The battle which was fought in and around Garrison Hill in the tennis court area of the Deputy Commissioner's residence.

The World War II Cemetery in Kohima, Nagaland is a popular tourist place in Kohima where visitors from abroad also pay a visit including relatives of war veterans. It is one of the popular places to visit in Kohima, Nagaland.

There are no traces of any buildings from that era but concrete white lines mark the tennis court which used to be there.   

The cemetery is maintained by the "Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), and there are 1,420 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War at this cemetery, and a memorial to an additional 917 Hindu and Sikh soldiers who were cremated in accordance with their faith.

Kohima World War Cemetery is easily accessible, located right in the central part of Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. From the War Cemetery, we can see Kohima main town and Bara Basti (Kohima Village) in the background.
